Hallandale Beach hosts Fourth of July bash a little early

Hallandale Beach will celebrate America’s Birthday a little early with an All-American beach bash.

From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, the city will host Celebrate America at South Beach Park, with music, games, a bounce house and numerous activities for children.

The free event will also offer bocce ball and volleyball for adults.

The Hallandale Beach Police Athletic League will provide the food concessions.

Parking fees during the event will be waived at South Beach Park, located in the 1800 block of South Ocean Drive, and in the North Beach Park parking garage, located on East Hallandale Beach Boulevard at South Ocean Drive.
