The latest buzz on Ann Curry’s departure from the Today show is that she’ll walk away with a nice chunk of change.
TMZ reports that Curry signed a contract to co-anchor Today for $10 million a year and because she’s only one year into it, she’ll be given that much when she leaves the job.
Her exit news — she’s expected to become a foreign correspondent for NBC — is expected this week, says The New York Post.

The third time on American Idol was really, truly the charm for Candice Glover. The South Carolina singer took home the big win last week and already has an album (Music Speaks) and is headed out on tour. Though the 23-year-old can’t be called an overnight success, she is more than ready for her ride.
