Oprah Winfrey in Miami to interview the Miami Heat NBA champs

After taking part in the Miami Heat parade across downtown Miami Monday morning and the celebration that followed inside the American Airlines Arena, Miami Heat’s Big Three had one more important appointment.

LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh agreed to be interviewed by famous talk show host Oprah Winfrey, who came to town for the sit down with the three at the AmericanAirlines Arena.

Monday afternoon after the celebration, Winfrey began tweeting photos of herself holding the NBA Finals trophy. She even thanked Miami police for helping her to maneuver through the huge crowd around the arena entrance.

She finally tweeted a snapshot of herself with the dressed-up James, Wade and Bosh.

“Hangin with the guys!” she tweeted. “Wore my highest heels and still felt short.”

The interview with the NBA champs, Winfrey said, will be featured in an upcoming Oprah’s Next Chapter.

After a rocky start, Winfrey’s new OWN cable channel has seen some success with the newsmakers interview format. Winfrey’s sit-down last week with the entire Kadashian family gave her channel a ratings boost.

Her interview with the Big Three may do the same.
