Newlyweds Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves were spotted over the weekend at Acqualina Resort & Spa on the Beach in Sunny Isles.

The cast of the USA Network hit Suits Sarah Rafferty, Gina Torres, Rick Hoffman and Meghan Markle — were seen Thursday night at the JW Marriott Marquis Miami for a poolside soiree. They were staying at the hotel to introduce their show to the Latin market.

Lifetime’s Designing Spaces made over the children’s activity center at Kids In Distress of Broward and Palm Beach counties and hosts Debbie Marie and David Jones revealed their work Friday during the filming of a special, Kids Spaces of Hope - A Labor of Love Makeover. Florida Panthers player Ed Jovanovski was one of many volunteers who participated in the redo.

Oklahoma City Thunder players Kevin Durant, Kendrick Perkins, Derek Fisher and Nazr Mohammed hosted friends Friday night at Philippe Miami where, on Saturday, the team took over the entire back dining room for more than 35 players and family members.

A few doors down Friday night at Prime 112, Thunder players James Harden, Russell Westbrook and Daequan Cook were having dinner a few tables away from Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick. Across the street at Prime Italian, Miami Dolphins player Reggie Bush was seen having dinner with friends.

Doing dinner Saturday at Prime 112 were ESPN personalities Rachel Nichols, Stuart Scott, J.A. Adande, Jalen Rose and TNT reporter David Aldridge.

Following the Heat game on Sunday night Prime 112 stayed open for what could have been a post-game dinner party as they got a rush around midnight. Spotted around the dining room: producer Jerry Bruckheimer, ex NFL and UM player Warren Sapp, Shaquille O’Neal, Thunder player Serge Ibaka, and ESPN/ ABC basketball Personalities Rose, Steven A. Smith, Michael Wilbon and Adande.

After receiving a tip that Jimmy Morales, City Attorney for the City of Doral, Special Master for the City of North Miami, and Shareholder in the Land Use, Environment, and Government Affairs Department at Stearns, Weaver, Miller, Weissler, Alhadeff, & Sitterson PA, is planning on running for governor of Florida against Rick Scott, we went straight to Morales, who told us, “I am very seriously exploring a run for governor in 2014. I will not be making any formal announcements until next year, but I am talking with folks across the state in preparation.”

    Stevie Wonder sings at his own birthday bash

    Stevie Wonder celebrated his 63rd birthday a week after the big day (May 13) with a private concert for almost 700 high rollers, VIP guests and media types Tuesday night at Hard Rock Live at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. The legendary Wonder performed for well over two hours, singing covers by The Beatles, Michael Jackson and Bob Marley as well as his own greatest hits. Wonder also invited some of the audience, this writer included, to audition for him on his hit, Part Time Lover. While he told us we were better than the previous, uh, contestant, we’ll be keeping the full time day job.
