Chris Brown and Drake fight in early morning bar brawl

Trouble still is clinging to Chris Brown. The NYPD is investigating an early morning bar brawl Thursday involving him and Drake.

Five people were injured in the fight at club W.I.P., mostly minor cuts. Brown tweeted a photo of himself with a cut chin, then removed it, as well as other messages about the fight, including epithets and taunts. TMZ reports that rapper Meek Mill (who was at Drake’s table) hit Brown with a bottle for unknown reasons. Rivalry, perhaps? Both Drake and Brown have dated Rihanna. She and Drake collaborated on the song Take Care and were seen holding hands at LIV over Memorial Day weekend.

Fun in the sun

Sun worshipers at Delano pool Tuesday saw that Miley Cyrus was taking a dip with a young man who wasn’t studly fiance Liam Hemsworth. Was it a case of “While the cat’s away?” No such thing. Her swim partner Cheyne Thomas is just a friend, according to E! News, as well as a part-time assistant. “So now because I am engaged I can’t have a friend of the opposite sex?” the former Hannah Montana star tweeted in disgust. “Can’t have a friend help me out while I’m working alllll day? #dumb.” Cyrus is recording an album in Miami while hubby-to-be is in New Orleans shooting Empire State.

Chicagolicious

From the Magic City to the Windy City: NBC6 anchor/reporter Amara Sohn announced on Facebook that she will be moving to Chicago with her husband, Thomas Walker. Sohn’s last day is next Thursday.

Bump in the road?

Time always tells, but it looks as if Glades star Kiele Sanchez is pregnant. The former Lost beauty is engaged to Zach Gilford of Friday Night Lights. Sanchez looked rounder than usual on the most recent episode of the A&E cop drama shot in Broward County. At the end of the show, she announced to her on-screen lover ( Matt Passmore) she was moving to Atlanta for a job.

Hooking up

Jake Gyllenhaal hasn’t been able to find anyone since splitting with Taylor Swift last year. (She will be getting her revenge on him in her next album, we hear.) The actor recently tried his luck with Minka Kelly, who was fresh off of a Wilder Valderrama fling . Word is the ex- Charlie Angel’s star had been Jake’s crush for a while so she gave him a shot, but Us Weekly reports sparks never flew.

But someone is scoring: Model-loving Leonardo DiCaprio and Victoria’s Secret babe Erin Heatherton were snapped attending the Tony award winning play Once in NY Tuesday night. Accompanied by a third wheel, Leo’s acting coach , they dined afterward at famed Joe Allen, where the Great Gatsby lothario and model looked quite comfortable with one another, The New York Post reports.

    Amanda Bynes: hot mess extraordinaire

The term “hot mess” doesn’t come close to describing Amanda Bynes. The troubled actress appeared disheveled in a long blond wig and sweats Friday in a criminal court where she was charged with reckless endangerment. She was also charged with attempted tampering with evidence and unlawful possession of marijuana, all misdemeanors.
