Man dies after car slams into county bus

A PT Cruiser slammed into a Miami-Dade County Bus Wednesday morning, killing the 50-year-old car driver.

Efrain Hernandez, of Miami, was driving east on NW 186th St. when he rear-ended the bus at 5:47 a.m. The bus was stopped at the 6700 block of NW 186th St. to pick up a passenger when the crash happened, Miami-Dade police said.

Hernandez was pronounced dead at the scene. No one else was injured.
