A man died Tuesday after he was shot on a Miami-Dade Transit bus near Cutler Bay.
Lamar Callie, 24, was shot about 9:20 p.m. while on the bus on the busway along U.S. 1 and Caribbean Boulevard in South Miami-Dade, police Detective Javier Baez said.
Callie and the shooter got into an argument on the bus, which led to the violence.
The victim was taken to Kendall Trauma Center, where he died, Baez said.
The shooter escaped and is being sought by police.
