Dillard

Having too many good options to choose from is a problem that Dillard girls basketball coach Marcia Pinder welcomes.

Arguably one of the deepest teams in the state this year, the Panthers are back in Lakeland and preparing for its Class 5A state semifinal showdown with St. Petersburg Lakewood Thursday night at 7:30 p.m. in the Lakeland Center.

Having a team with 10 equally talented girls, all capable of carrying the load, has made staying in Pinder’s starting lineup a very tough task.
