A thief stole seafood, a few cases of beer and a bottle of wine from a Whole Foods grocery store in the 11700 block of South Dixie Highway at 9:50 a.m. Feb.3.

PINECREST

A thief stole cosmetic products worth about $513 from a CVS pharmacy in the 11200 block of South Dixie Highway between 11 and 11:15 p.m. Feb. 9.

A burglar broke into a residence in the 6900 block of Southwest 104th Street and stole pillowcases, two televisions, a DVD collection and a Sony Playstation game console, all valued at $2,710, between 4 p.m. Feb. 3 and 3 p.m. Feb. 8.

SOUTH MIAMI

A thief stole a silver racing bike valued at $1,000 from outside of a Panera Bread bakery-cafe in the 5700 block of Southwest 72nd Street between 10:45 and 11 a.m. Feb. 10.

While a woman was unloading her groceries in the parking lot of a Winn Dixie store in the 5800 block of Southwest 72nd Street about 4:45 p.m. Feb. 4, a thief grabbed her purse and fled.

A thief stole a black Canon camera valued at $550 from a television room in the Red Road Commons apartment complex in the 6600 block of Southwest 57th Avenue between 10 p.m. Feb. 5 and 7:30 a.m. Feb. 6.

CORAL GABLES

A car was set ablaze at a residence in the 1400 block of Siena Avenue just before 4:30 a.m. Feb. 3. The victim told police that he had been receiving threats from his girlfriend's ex-boyfriend and that he may have committed the crime.

A thief stole two bottles of vitamin C cream valued at $40 per bottle from a Publix in the 100 block of Ponce de Leon Boulevard at 1:55 p.m. Feb. 3.

A thief stole a 2000 white Mercedes parked legally in a driveway in the 1300 block of Galiano Street between 6:30 and 8:30 p.m. Feb. 3.

A thief entered a residence in the 200 block of Grant Drive through the rear window between 7 a.m. Feb. 4 and 9 a.m. Feb. 6 and stole a 42-inch flat screen television valued at $1,200.

A burglar punched out the lock of a car parked in a garage in the 300 block of San Lorenzo Avenue and stole a Macbook laptop computer and an iPad between 2:45 and 5 p.m. Feb. 4.

A student playing basketball at the University of Miami in the 1200 block of Dickinson Drive between 2:45 and 5 p.m. Feb. 4 left his bookbag unattended. When he returned, he discovered that his laptop computer, charger and iPod had been stolen.

CUTLER BAY

Thieves broke into an unoccupied residence in the 21000 block of Southwest 102nd Avenue between 11:30 p.m. Feb. 12 and 9:30 a.m. Feb. 13 and stole several appliances, all worth about $3,000.

A burglar attempting to enter a car parked outside of a home in the 18000 block of Southwest 100th Avenue broke the car’s door handle between 10 p.m. Feb. 13 and 9 a.m. Feb. 14. Damage was estimated at $100.
