Burglars target homes along Little Havana block

One or more burglars broke into two homes in the 2900 block of Southwest 24th Street Feb. 1. One home was broken into between 8 a.m. and noon. The other was broken into between 8:15 and 9:30 a.m.

LITTLE HAVANA

A burglar broke into an apartment in the 1100 block of Northwest Sixth Street between 10 a.m. and noon Feb. 2.

A thief ransacked a residence in the 900 block of Northwest 22nd Court between 5:45 a.m. and 4:45 p.m. Feb. 3.

A burglar attempted to break into a house in the 2000 block of Northwest Ninth Street between 8 a.m. and noon Feb. 3.

A car was stolen from the 1400 block of Southwest Seventh Street between 9 p.m. Feb. 1 and 6 a.m. Feb. 2.

MODEL CITY

A burglar broke into a house in the 1600 block of Northwest 57th Street between 6:15 a.m. and noon Feb. 1.

A burglar broke into a duplex in the 1200 block of Northwest 46th Street between 6 p.m. Feb. 2 and 10 a.m. Feb. 6.

A 1995 Honda Civic was stolen from the 1000 block of Northwest 45th Street between 9 and 11 p.m. Feb. 4.

EAST LITTLE HAVANA

A thief broke into a business in the 500 block of Southwest Third Avenue between 5 p.m. Feb. 2 and 7:30 a.m. Feb. 3.

DOWNTOWN MIAMI

A car was stolen from the 900 block of Northeast Second Avenue between 5 and 9:30 a.m. Feb. 4.

KEY BISCAYNE

A thief broke into and stole a car from the 4000 block of Virginia Beach Drive Feb. 3.

BLUE LAGOON AREA

A thief broke into apartment in the 4300 block of Northwest Seventh Street between 12:30 and 1:30 p.m. Feb. 3 and stole several items, including a microwave oven.

FLAGAMI AREA

A car was stolen from the 1600 block of Northwest 29th Avenue between 5 and 10 a.m. Feb. 2.

EL PORTAL

A burglar broke a church’s window about 3 a.m. Feb. 7 in the 8600 block of Northeast Second Avenue.
