Water main bursts near 1400 Riverland Road in Ft. Lauderdale

A water main bursts in Fort Lauderdale near 1400 Riverland Road, just west of I-95, police told CBS-4.

Both north and southbound from Southwest 13th Court to Southwest 14th Street.

City crews are at the scene.

According to spokeswoman for the city’s public works department, Monique Damiano, \people were calling in with complaints of "street flooding,” at around 6 a.m. Tuesday.

A drinking water line is the source of the flooding .

Authorities said there are no changes in water pressure or service outages at this time.
