Musical joy

 

Re David Fleshler’s Feb. 10 article, U.S. pianist and Polish orchestra serve up inspired Chopin: The Herald missed the opportunity to tell its readers about the 15-year-old free concert series dedicated to the works of the great Polish Romantic composer Frederic Chopin, Chopin for All, presented monthly at the Broward County Main Library in Fort Lauderdale and Granada Presbyterian Church in Coral Gables.

As a world-class classical concert series, we are unique. We present artists who are either internationally renowned, or as in the case of our younger talent, including teenagers, on their way to the top. We’re an enormous asset to South Florida’s cultural vitality.

    Re the May 22 letter The goal: more water conservation: You cannot tell existing homeowners to limit water-sprinkler use while building more homes, each having showers, dishwashers, sprinklers, etc.
