CORAL WAY

5 hurt, Coral Way closed, after tractor trailer collision

 

A serious accident on Coral Way has shut the road down and sent five people to the hospital.

According to police, a car and a tractor trailer collided in the eastbound lanes of Coral Way at SW 84th Avenue just around 2:30 a.m.

The tractor trailer flipped over and leaked more than a hundred gallons of diesel fuel.

Five people were rushed to Kendall Regional Medical Center.

Coral Way is shutdown from 87th Avenue to 82nd Avenue and is expected to remain closed for several hours while crews work to clean up the spilled diesel fuel.

Police are also trying to figure out what caused the accident.
