Sugarcane chef does Dinner with Friends series

Timon Balloo, executive chef at Midtown Miami’s Sugarcane, is launching a Dinner with Friends series: monthly Monday night meals he’ll cook with culinary friends for up to 14 guests.

His kitchen collaborators will be Paula DaSilva, 1500 Degrees chef, Feb. 27; Lee Brian Schrager, South Beach Wine & Food Festival founder, March 26; David Bracha, River Oyster Bar chef, April 23, and Dean James Max, 3030 Ocean chef, May 21.

The dinners will take place at 7:30 p.m. and cost $110 plus tax and tip. Reservations are required at sugarcane@sushisamba.com.
