New York's Center for Constitutional Rights issued the following statement Tuesday night:

"Majid Khan was with two of his lawyers, Wells Dixon of the Center for Constitutional Rights and Katya Jestin of Jenner & Block, when he was served with military commission charges on Monday morning. We are reviewing the charges, and will represent Majid throughout this process. Majid is doing well considering these challenging circumstances."

Khan's Pentagon assigned defense attorney, Army Lt. Col. Jon Jackson, declined comment.
