Police are investigating the deaths of two people found in a home in Margate.

Just before 5 p.m. Monday, officers arrived at 6800 Southwest 3rd Street, in response to a shooting, police said.

They discovered the bodies of Joseph Brown, 42, and Maxine Brown, 44. Their relationship was not immediately determined, detectives said.

The initial investigation revealed this may be a domestic related murder-suicide. The exact cause of the shooting is still under investigation, police said.

Detectives are urging anyone with information to call Sgt. Les Lytle at 954-972-7111.
