Indie Cinema Roundup: Angelina Jolie in Land Of Blood and Honey; Fisbone doc


This week's Indie Cinema Weekend Roundup, an effort by Beached Miami to support local venues for new, independent film.

The movies previewed include Angelina Jolie's In The Land Of Blood and Honey, set during the Bosnian War in the 1990s (playing at the Tower theater in Little Havana, and Everyday Sunshine: The Story of Fishbone, a documentary narrated by Laurence Fishburne about an iconoclastic punk/ska/funk band that emerged from the ghettoes of South Central Los Angeles in the '80s to challenge the racial stereotypes and political order of the music industry (playing at O Cinema in Wynwood).
