Maintenance work on the rail tracks between the Okeechobee and Palmetto Metrorail stations in Hialeah will close both stations on Saturday and Sunday.

Weekend passengers who wish to travel between those two stations can use a free shuttle bus provided by Miami-Dade Transit.

The shuttle bus departure times will follow approximately those of the weekend Metrorail schedule.

Passengers who normally park at the Palmetto Station, or are dropped off at this station, are encouraged to use the Okeechobee Station instead.
