The media have unfairly pounced on Mitt Romney’s “oops” moment regarding the “very poor.”
The man simply stated what he believes. It sounds harsh, but Romney said it only meant that he’s going to focus on the middle class and not the very rich or very poor.
He must come to understand that the middle class has become a nostalgic reference to what was before the real estate, job and financial markets imploded. In order to bring financial stability back, we cannot allow the great untapped, such as himself, who pay far less than what they should in taxes, to continue on that gravy train.
