On my way to vote on the two issues in Miami-Dade County, I thought about being fed up with all the young people who don’t bother to vote.
I haven’t missed a chance to vote since I first became eligible in 1960 when I was 21.
I vote for every single teenager that hit the beaches in Tarawa, Iwo Jima, Anzio or Normandy. They died to preserve our right to vote.
However, the kids today scoff at the privilege by staying away. Shame on them.
