If there is one lesson for a robber, it’s this: Hold on to your towel.

Earlier this week, an armed suspect was arrested, accused of robbing a woman at a 7-Eleven. Terrence Jackson, 36, went into the store wearing a white towel over his head, according to the Bradenton Herald.

Jackson allegedly snatched the customer’s purse, dragging the woman across the floor, according to the report detailing the robbery last year.

He took the purse and left — but dropped his towel.

Big mistake.

Police took the towel and sent it to a DNA lab for testing.

They found a match.

It is unclear why Jackson was wearing the towel.
