Let’s work together

 

Dolphins President Mike Dee’s recent comment that Miami-Dade might go it alone on a 2016 Super Bowl bid shows how naive he is about this community.

Penalizing South Florida purely out of political revenge toward Broward County shows his lack of concern for the big picture. Because the game is now into February, during the last visit to South Florida, the Miami Beach Convention Center was not available, nor will it be in the future. In addition, rooms in Miami-Dade were taken back by the NFL and moved to Broward along with convention center functions.

His lack of knowledge and “it’s all about the Dolphins” attitude speak volumes to those of us who preach regionalism.

    Re the May 22 letter The goal: more water conservation: You cannot tell existing homeowners to limit water-sprinkler use while building more homes, each having showers, dishwashers, sprinklers, etc.
