Mounds of garbage spill onto Orlando roadway

A mountain of garbage spilled onto Florida’s Turnpike in Central Florida Tuesday afternoon when a truck overturned on a ramp.

The spill made for a nauseating scene — both for those who had to smell it and those who had to detour.

WESH.com reports that the ramp at the turnpike and Interstate 4 has been reopened after crews cleaned up the mess in time for the afternoon commute.

According to the report, the truck driver will be charged with going too fast.
