Romney to make campaign stops in Miami-Dade, Broward on Sunday

Mitt Romney is the only Republican presidential candidate campaigning in South Florida on Sunday.

Romney will make two stops — in Hialeah and in Pompano Beach.

At 3:45 p.m., Romney will be at Casa Marin Restaurant, 4195 Palm Ave., where he will be introduced to the crowd by U.S. Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R-Miami).

Romney will then head to Pompano Beach for a 6:30 p.m. supporters rally at the Emma Lou Olson Civic Center, 1801 N.E. Sixth St.

The public can attend both events.

Meanwhile, Newt Gingrich will be campaigning in other parts of Florida. Rick Santorum has returned home to Pennsylvania due to the hospitalization of one of his daughters. Ron Paul has skipped campaigning in Florida.
