Two Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies have been charged with falsifying records, court documents say. Charges were filed Jan. 23.

BSO deputies David Wimberly and Brian Swadkins, who work out of the Tamarac district, committed the crime back in February 2010, according to the Broward County Clerk of Courts.

Details would not be released by the Broward State Attorney’s Office and charging documents were not available Friday.

Swadkins is facing one misdemeanor count of falsifying official records and Wimberly is charged with two counts, records show.

Both deputies were issued notices to appear in county court before Broward County court Judge Ginger Lerner-Wren. The date is yet to be determined.

This article will be updated as more details become available.
