Youth arts programs present ‘How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying'

The Roxy Theatre Group and the Greater Miami Youth Symphony, two youth arts programs, will present the Tony-Award winning musical, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying from Feb. 17 to March 3, 2012 at The Roxy Performing Arts Center. Representing over 25 schools and colleges in Miami-Dade County, the cast and orchestra is composed of 70 students, ages 12-22.

How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying tells a story of ambition, love and the hilarious behind-the-scenes antics of the corporate world. The music and lyrics are by Frank Loesser and book by Abe Burrows, Jack Weinstock, and Willie Gilbert

How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, will play from Feb. 17 -March 3; Fridays and Saturdays, 8 p.m.; Saturday, March 3, 3 p.m. and 8 p.m.; and Sundays, 5:30 p.m. General Admission is $20.

The gala fundraiser and reception will take place on Saturday, Feb. 18 at 7 p.m., at a cost of $50 for each ticket. Proceeds benefit RTG’s Student Scholarship Fund. The Roxy Performing Arts Center is located 1645 SW 107 Ave. Miami, across Florida International University. The Roxy Theatre Group and the Greater Miami Youth Symphony will present this musical thanks to The Children’s Trust. The Roxy Theatre Group, a non-profit organization, offers performing arts programs for ages, 3-17. Greater Miami Youth Symphony is dedicated to training young musicians, ages 5-18.
