Demi Moore replaced in Lovelace film

Is the set of Lovelace cursed? First Lindsay Lohan gets kicked out of the main role of the legendary adult film star because of her legal problems (Amanda Seyfried stepped in). Now Demi Moore has been also replaced due to her substance abuse (whip its?! Red Bull addiction!) issues. USWeekly first reported that Weeds star Mary Louise Parker would play Gloria Steinem. But then we heard Sarah Jessica Parker has the honor.

The New York Daily News is reporting that Demi’s recent problems may not be all due to Ashton Kutcher’s cheating ways. The actress was said to be despondent over the December death of her longtime Alcoholics Anonymous sponsor, Pattsy Rugg. Moore saw her as a mother figure; Moore’s mother died in 1998 from cancer.

In the newly released 911 call, a friend tells the operator that the 49-year-old star began convulsing and “burning up’’ after smoking something “similar to incense.’’ She was soon zoomed to the hospital where her publicist said she was suffering from “exhaustion.” Where have we heard that before? RadarOnline is saying it may be K2, a legal synthetic cannabis. That’s the new designer drug in L.A. apparently.

Kutcher is back in L.A. from Brazil, where he partied down. Sources say he is very concerned about his estranged wife. Haven’t heard much from her other ex, Bruce Willis, though. Maybe Emilio Estevez will step in.
