Several people were injured in a crash of a bus and truck shortly after noon Tuesday..
The accident involved a Miami-Dade Transit bus and a FedEx truck at Northwest Seventh Avenue and 17th Street in Miami.
According to Miami-Dade Transit, 18 people were injured, including the bus driver, and taken to area hospitals.
The FedEx truck ran a red light and hit the Route M bus, according to Miami police.
The truck driver was not injured. The injuries on the bus were not considered serious.
One man was shot to death by Miami police, and another man is fighting for his life after he was attacked and his face allegedly half eatten, by a naked man on the MacArthur Causeway off ramp, police said.
