For movie buffs, Tuesday is a big day: The Oscar nominations will be announced from Los Angeles.

It all begins at 8 a.m. ETA, when celebrities on California-time will read out the nominees for the 84th Academy Awards.

The event is so anticipated in the industry, even Las Vegas bookies get in on this action.

One strong indicator is a win in last week’s Golden Globe awards. Hint: Because Meryl Streep won a best actress Globe for her performance in The Iron Lady, she’ll likely get nominated for an Oscar, along with George Clooney, who won for best actor in a drama for The Descendants.

No other publication covers films better than The Hollywood Reporter. Over the weekend, the industry newspaper tweeted and published its list of possible nominees by Scott Feinberg, an Oscar expert and analyst.

Here are Feinberg’s picks in the top four categories: best picture, best director, best actor, best actress.
