There's a new restaurant in the works that promises to add an Italian touch to the fancy restos in the Design District: MC Kitchen, set to open this March.

The restaurant is the brainchild of chef Dena Marino, whose résumé includes a stint as assistant chef at Tra Vigne in Napa Valley, owned by celebrity chef Michael Chiarello. Marino has also battled Iron chef Masaharu Morimoto in the popular Food Network TV show.
