March for land and housing by Haitian grassroots organization, Je nan Je (Eye to Eye) movement to parliament to press officials to reform land laws and allow land to be freed up. Event is funded by ActionAid Haiti.

Launch of the relocation of victims of the Champ de Mars with President MIchel Martelly, members of the government, Mayor of Port-au-Prince at 12:30 p.m. Champ de Mars.

President Michel Martelly and Dominican President Leonel Fernandez will inaugurate the University of Henri Christophe in Limonade, 11 a.m.

The U.N. Stabilization Mission in Haiti will have a private ceremony with members of families of lost colleagues and representative of the mission.

Opening of the exhibition of MUPANAH dedicated to victims of the earthquake of Jan. 12, 2010, 7 to 9 p.m. Port-au-Prince.

The International Rescue Committee will host a panel discussion on Haiti’s recovery. The panelists will discuss the current conditions in Haiti and how you can help. Panelists include actor and musician Jencarlos Canelas, Haitian chef and Top Chef competitor Ron Duprat, Haiti’s Consul General Ralph Latortue and FIU alumnus Guy-Gerard Gachelin ’09, a program specialist in the Haiti Emergency Assistance Program at the International Rescue Committee. 10 a.m. FIorida International University, Modesto A. Miami Community Partnership for Local Haitian Relief Efforts releases strategic plan to support the healing of the Haitians, 2 p.m., Haitian Neighborhood Center, Sant La, 5000 Biscayne Blvd., Suite 110.

FIU students, faculty, staff and friends will then come together in the Graham Center Pit for a moment of silence. The program will include a candlelight vigil, 4:45 p.m. Florida International University, Modesto A. Maidique Campus, 11200 S.W. 8th St., GC Pit.
