Open Media Miami

The Miami International Art Fair, a 5-day art fair featuring 30 international galleries, is set to begin on Jan. 13.

According to the fair’s website, it will feature both well-known and emerging artists ranging in media from photography and sculpture to painting and video.

This year, the location has moved from Miami Beach to downtown Miami, and from the land to the sea—it will be hosted aboard a mega exposition ship docked at the Intercontinental Hotel dock.

In addition MIA will premiere Sculpture Miami, a waterside installation and sculpture exhibition in Bayfront Park.

One-day tickets go for $10 in advance, $15 at the door. Multi-day tickets for $15 in advance and $20 at the door.
