Veteran arts presenter Judy Drucker has announced the postponement of two of the four concerts in her 2011 Great Artists Series and the formation of a board of directors for the organization.

Baritone Dmitri Hvorostovsky, who was to perform Tuesday, and violinist Vladimir Feltsman, scheduled for Feb. 19, have “agreed to the postponement of their respective concerts to next season in order to allow the organization and new board to organize an agenda,” according to an announcement.

Performances March 27 by violinist Pinchas Zukerman, cellist Amanda Forsyth and pianist Angela Cheng and April 15 by pianist Evgeny Kissin remain on the schedule at Miami Beach’s New World Center.

Appointed to the board were Sue Miller, Martin Bookspan, Norman Braman, Mark Bryn, Jean-Louis and Ingrid Fatio, Marvin Ross Friedman, Gary Gerson, Donald Lefton, Arnold and Sondra Lieber, Ray Marchman, Martin Z. Margulies, Robert Pinkert and Joe Siostek.

Conductor James Conlon, Broadway producer-director Harold Prince and New World Symphony Artistic Director Michael Tilson Thomas were named honorary board members.

Further information about the series is available at 305-215-3491.
