Indy dodged historic ignominy with a maiden victory last week and, now sated, should consider that one win enough if the franchise goal is now to not blow the overall No. 1 pick and a chance to draft Stanford quarterback Andrew Luck. Houston already has clinched its first division title and playoff berth but still seeks a first-round bye. Therefore, Texans have as much incentive to win as Nags do to lose. I’d still chance Colts with the points (especially with Andre Johnson sidelined again), but not outright. Texans’ power running game will throttle and gash Indy’s smallish defensive front.
