Brees wins 2nd weekly title in a row, overtakes Rodgers for season lead The Saints’ bombs-away passing offense has its rewards: Prolific Drew Brees has overtaken the Packers’ Aaron Rodgers for the season lead with three weeks to play in The Miami Herald’s 14th year of Passer Success System (PASS) quarterback rankings. Brees won a second consecutive weekly title last week, his 52.85 points only the sixth 50-plus week by any QB in 2011. Brees also is on pace (687.25) to surpass the all-time season record of 664.30 points set by Patriot Tom Brady in 2007. The Herald’s rankings, unchanged since their inception in 1998, are cumulative and factor accuracy, yardage, TD/INT ratio and team result. The top 20 leaderboard entering Week 15:
