In the mania of Art Basel Miami Beach, we missed one of the coolest pop-ups to descend on Miami during the annual artfest. Two weeks later and just in time for the holidays, allow us to introduce you to rising stars and Boca Raton-raised brothers Daniel and Jon Feldman, the forces behind the Feltraiger menswear label. The name of this clever Americana collection of jackets, shirts, t-shirts and accessories, is inspired by the family's original surname before it changed to Feldman upon their arrival via Ellis Island. The Brooklyn-based label opens its first retail store in March in New York, featuring the new Spring/Summer 2012 collection Pompous Circumstance. One of our faves is the You Broke Our Hearts t-shirts ($38), which is available, along with other items, at www.feltraiger.com.

Love dogs almost as much as you love jewelry? Then check out “Gimme Shelter,” a new line of sterling silver jewelry designed for the Humane Society of Greater Miami. Appropriate for all ages, the pieces include key rings, necklaces, bracelets, pendants and rope necklaces. All have a design of a dog’s paw and can be engraved. Prices range from $50 to $100, and best of all, 100 percent of the money goes to the Humane Society of Greater Miami. The jewelry is available at the Humane Society at 16101 W. Dixie Highway in North Miami — if you’re thinking about adopting a new pet, check out the dogs and cats there — and will soon be available at www.humanesocietymiami.org

This year, all sorts of celebs are helping America stay warm by helping out with the Burlington Coat Factory’s Warm Coats and Warm Hearts Drive. Stars including JWoww, Lauren Conrad, Ty Pennington and Jillian Harris have all donated coats to help the needy, then tweeted images of themselves holding up “giving” signs to encourage consumers to drop off a gently used coat at any nearby Burlington Coat Factory. But you don’t have to be famous to participate: the drive runs through Jan. 16.
