Latin food fest in Pinecrest Saturday

 

Pinecrest Gardens, 11000 SW 57th Ave., Pinecrest, gets its cha-cha-cha on from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday with a Latin Spice Food Festival, featuring tastings by 25 chefs and restaurants, arts and crafts sales, cigar rolling, a domino playing area, children’s activities and live entertainment. The event culminates in the lighting of the village holiday tree.

Admission is $5, and parking is free. Tickets to an 8 p.m. concert by Grammy winner Chino Nuñez and his orchestra — preceded at 6:30 p.m. by salsa dancing and instruction — are $25; 877-496-8499, www.pinecrestgardens.org.
