Brandied Coffee Punch
This Danish punch is spiked and served for Christmas in chilled glasses.
6 eggs
Grated peel of one lemon
1/2 cup sugar
3 cups cold, extra-strong coffee
2/3 cup brandy or cognac
Beat the eggs and lemon zest until the mixture is light and fluffy. Add the sugar, a little at a time, beating continuously, and continue to beat until thick. Slowly stir in the coffee and add the brandy. Makes 48 ounces of punch.
