Chef-owner Angelo Elia of Fort Lauderdale favorite Casa D’Angelo will cook a white-truffle dinner Tuesday at New York’s James Beard House. Tickets for the five-course feast are $205 ($155 for Beard House members) at 212-627-2308.

Morton’s The Steakhouse locations in Miami and Fort Lauderdale plan to open for lunch Dec. 8, 9, 14, 15, 16, 20, 21 and 22. A two-course, $35 menu will include lobster bisque, French onion soup or a salad to start and an entree of filet mignon, broiled salmon or Chicken Christopher; www.mortons.com.
