Beer tasting, food-truck roundup, family-fun day

 

BGR The Burger Joint, 232 Miracle Mile, Coral Gables, hosts a brewmaster-led tasting from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday featuring Dogfish Head beers. Thirty seats are available at $25 each; 305-461-9989.

The Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts hosts a gourmet food-truck roundup from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Friday at Northeast Second Avenue between 12th and 13th streets featuring the piano stylings of ELEW.

Winn-Dixie Store No. 251, 3275 SW 22nd St., Miami, continues its grand opening celebration from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday with a family fun day featuring food samples, giveaways, face painting and an appearance by Billy the Marlin; 305-460-9596.
