Maroone to hire 500 in sales, service technicians

Maroone car dealers are holding a one-day hiring fair in South Florida on Wednesday to hire 500 sales associates and certified service technicians.

The tri-county job fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Maroone Honda in Miami, Maroone Chevrolet in Pembroke Pines and Maroone Ford Delray.

Maroone is part of Fort Lauderdale-based AutoNation, one of Florida’s largest employers with over 20,000 employees nationwide. AutoNation plans 10 new dealerships nationwide in 2011.

The jobs include guaranteed training pay; health, dental and disability coverage, and matching contributions to a 401K retirement account.
