Crash in Lake Worth shuts down 10th Avenue lane

An accident in suburban Lake Worth has forced authorities to shut down one westbound lane of 10th Avenue North.

The accident, which involves two vehicles, took place around 6:35 a.m. on 10th Avenue North and Evans Drive, said Capt. Don DeLucia, spokesman for Palm Beach County Fire Rescue.

The extent of the drivers' injuries are unknown, but at least one person will be flown to Delray Medical Center, DeLucia said.
