  • A piano sitting on a sandbar in the water by residents that live along Biscayne Bay in North Miami, Florida, as seen in this January 18, 2011 Miami Herald photo. The grand piano which has mysteriously washed up on a ocean sandbar in Miami's Biscayne Bay is giving Coast Guard officials pause for thought. But there are no plans to rescue it from its lonely vigil, standing upright on the end of the small spit of sand, with the waves lapping close its feet. "We will not get involved on this issue unless it becomes a legitimate danger to navigation or environmental threat, which isn't at this point," said Nick Amin, a Coast Guard spokesman. Eds.
