Under the Sun: Ring Ye Joyful Bells

MIAMI HERAL/WLRN/UNDER THE SUN

Learn about the people who love ringing the bells at The Trinity Episcopal Cathedral's tower in downtown Miami, and their neighbors -- who don't love it so much.

The tower, 464 N.E. 16th St., houses eight bells.

They are big, and they are loud. The largest one weighs about 2,000 pounds.

Listen to The Under The Sun report, an ongoing series of commentaries about life in South Florida.
