Miami-Dade exhibition highlights agriculture and cattle

Cattle and important agricultural crops will be the stars this coming weekend at the second annual Miami International Agriculture & Cattle Show.

The show will feature 380 head of cattle from ranches in Florida, Texas, Georgia and across the country. The cattle will compete and will also be on display for international, national and local livestock breeders and buyers.

In addition, this year Miami-Dade parks has partnered with the Homestead Plant Exhibition to include a large selection of landscaping plants, fruit and vegetable trees, horticulture seminars and workshops.

The event begins Friday at the Ronald Reagan Equestrian Center at Tropical Park, 7900 SW 40th St., and runs through March 22.
