Unless it recently closed, there is another good source for do-it-yourself auto parts [Action Line, Nov. 29] on Northwest 74th Street, west of the Palmetto: U-Pick Auto Parts.

There is a small entry fee, then you can search rows of cars and trucks grouped by manufacturer.

When you check out, the prices are established. I have never found them high, and if you really don't want something, you can walk out.

[U-Pick Auto Parts is still open and the entry fee is $1. You must be at least 16-years old to enter.
