Stapps join Simmons for a good cause

 

Creed lead singer Scott Stapp and his wife, Jaclyn, are co-hosting a private dinner with music mogul Russell Simmons for Simmons' Rush Philanthropic Arts Foundation at The Mondrian Wednesday night. Joining the hosting duties is artist Shepard Fairey. Creed is donating an autographed guitar and limited edition memorabilia, which will soon be available for bid at CharityBuzz.org, from the band's Full Circle 2009 tour.

Twilight heartthrob Kellan Lutz landed in Miami Sunday night and headed straight for the Sunday Sundance House Music Party at SET. Sipping on Belvedere and cranberry at a VIP table he shared with a buddy, Lutz, who was there for about three hours, kept it low profile in jeans and plaid hat, marveling to his waitress about how beautifully designed SET's decor was.

Celebrating his 60th birthday with a party of 10 in Prime 112's private wine room Saturday was The Late Show With David Letterman bandleader Paul Shaffer. In that same room Friday night, music mogul Clive Davis with socialite and self-professed diet queen to the stars Nikki Haskell and friends.

Seen strolling the boardwalk near 16th and Ocean Sunday morning: producer Jerry Bruckheimer and wife Linda. Bruckheimer was later seen with Miami Heat prez Pat Riley at Mr. Chow, safely at a distance from Boston Celtics players who had defeated the Miami Heat just hours earlier. At nearby tables: Jamie Foxx with friends and Naomi Campbell and boyfriend Vladislav Doronin.

Actress Paula Patton, most recently seen in the movie Precious, and her husband, singer Robin Thicke, will join Roger Vivier Brand Ambassador/model Ine`s de la Fressange, with socialite Leticia Herrera Grendene, model Ines Rivero and the Adrienne Arsht Center's director of development Munisha Underhill for a cocktail party Tuesday night at the Roger Vivier store in Bal Harbour Shops to celebrate the boutique's grand opening.

Seen having dinner at Sardinia Sunday night: Sex and the City's Mr. Big, Chris Noth.
