“Vitality” recently purchased a 2010 Buick LaCrosse CXS and has become a big LaCrosse fan. As GM tries to build Buick into a heavy hitter in the luxury market, it will need fans like “Vitality” singing the brand’s praises. However, there’s always room for improvement, and this reviewer points out the flaws — both inside and under the hood — that Buick overlooked. He also mentions getting rebates on the brand-new model. “I just bought my black on black CXS (with nav and heads-up display) last week after trading in my ‘07 Camry XLE, and I'm amazed by this new Buick. The ride is second to none, the exterior turns heads and the interior is out of this world.
“Gripes are few: one, no glasses holder anywhere in the car. Two, cupholders are huge and take up too much room but can be taken out. Three, it could use a bit more horsepower — at least with the Touring Package since the car is large and heavy, and shifting gears yourself is not as fun when you only have 280 horsepower.
“Other than these three small complaints, I can't think of anything that would stop people from buying this car, especially at the price of $39k minus the rebates. It comes with all the features you can possibly think of and delivers them in a beautiful package. This is a true American luxury car that deserves to be noticed.”
