Miami Dolphins sign former Jets fullback Joe Kowalewski

The Miami Dolphins signed fullback Joe Kowalewski, a former New York Jet, Tuesday.

Kowalewski, a graduate of Solvay (N.Y.) High who went to Syracuse, spent two seasons with the Jets, getting into 13 games with two starts. He was waived and spent last year out of the league.

Last week, the Dolphins signed fullback Matt Quillen. Quillen left the team after two practices, leaving Lousaka Polite the only fullback in camp.
