If you're opting for a summer vacation that's closer to home this year, you may find some very attractive vacation bargains.

A sampling of summer deals in Florida follow. Terms of all packages and deals are subject to change without notice.

Affordable luxury: The exclusive Boca Raton Hotel and Club is putting its bungalows on sale this summer. Rates start at $129 for a guest room, $169 for a one-bedroom suite and $199 for a two-bedroom. That's a saving of up to 70 percent, valid through Oct. 9. Suites have full kitchens, living rooms, patios or terraces and private parking. The bungalows complex has its own pool. Twofer deals: Broward County again is promoting summer-long two-for-one deals. Coupons, available on website, must be presented at time of booking. Fun on the Fourth: Hey, dude, you can spend the Fourth of July weekend doing cowboy stuff at Florida's only dude ranch, Westgate River Ranch. Price is $388 for the two-night (July 3-4) stay in a Western-themed room. Included are Breakfast with a Cowboy, Rodeo Round Up, ice cream sundae, picnic lunch, hayride, cookout and tickets to Saturday night rodeo. A boutique-y vacation: Inn on Fifth, a boutique hotel in downtown Naples, has a two-night Fifth and Broadway package for $428 that includes two tickets to a play at the adjacent Naples Players Community Theater, dinner for two at a Fifth Avenue restaurant, breakfast for two at McCabe's Irish Pub and a music CD. Beach fun: The Daytona Beach Hilton Oceanfront Resort's Summer Family Fun Pak includes an activity for up to four kids in the hotel's D-Dawg Kidszone, movie tickets and breakfast buffet for kids. Golf, even for kids: Innsbrook Golf Resort near Tampa offers a Suite Family Getaway that starts at $149 with nine holes of post-4 p.m. golf for everyone (even the little ones) on the short Fox Squirrel Walking course.
